I came to Castlerock from Belfast in 1986 and ran a small gallery near the railway station. I set about documenting the architecture and scenery that was so unique to the area especially the old downhill estate and its buildings. I try to capture the changing weather that is an ever present challenge to living in the north west. The wind, the clouds and the surf and the soft greens of the heather clad moors on shore.
These are hand painted works mostly painted on high quality linen canvas or archive standard plywood panels using professional grade artist pigments.
